Twelfth Root is an audio studio located in Ottawa, Canada, and has been involved in a myriad of audio productions, including audio for film, TV, radio, web, production for other musical artists, museum kiosks and sound installations. We also have experience in space for sound consulting, studio design, and forensic analysis of recorded materials.

Numerous projects for a wide variety of clients including Air Canada, The Perimeter Institute, Parks Canada, and the Canadian Hunger Foundation.
Museums
Work for museums has included projects involving the Canadian Library and Archives, the Canadian War Museum, and the Museum of Civilization. Twelfth Root has delivered original content, kiosk design and implementation, voice recording, sound effects creation, editing and audio mastering for audio playback devices and presentation environments.
Dance
Recent work includes several innovative projects with internationally acclaimed sculptor/dancer Kenneth Emig, presented in the national capital region at AxeNeo7 and the National Arts Centre.
